About Aaron Tilton
Biographical Info
Aaron was born in Utah. He has lived in Springville and Spanish Fork for over 27 years. He married Heather Gabbitas from Springville. They have two children.
Aaron has a business development company that focuses on two areas: energy development (electricity), and utilizing technology to deliver healthcare. His business dealings have taken him throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to his current business he managed the Western States region for a technology company and served as director of sales and marketing.
Aaron is currently serving in the Utah State House of Representatives. He was originally appointed by the delegates of District 65 and Governor Olene Walker to fill a vacancy in the office of House Representative while running for that seat in 2004. He was re-elected in 2006.

Aaron’s Beliefs
Aaron’s beliefs about the role of government are not new. In fact they are old-fashioned and conservative. A few of them are outlined below.
1. The United States of America and the state of Utah were and are inspired by God.
2. All government receives its power and authority from its citizens.
3. Most government power should be maintained at the local level.
4. The lives and rights of the unborn should be protected.
5. The Second Amendment right to bear arms is essential.
6. The tax burden imposed upon citizens should be for the basic necessities of government, rather than excesses and entitlement programs.
7. We do not need to change or enact a lot of legislation. We need to enforce the existing laws and impose strict punishment on criminals.
8. Our school curriculum should reflect local values, not the agenda of unions or bureaucrats.
9. We should implement various forms of education systems that empower parents to make choices about their children’s education opportunities.
